The Round Robin event is a Livestock Showmanship Contest. Each grand champion showmanship winner from the junior and senior division of Horse, Beef, Sheep, Swine, and Meat Goat will compete for ALL AROUND Showman. Each 4-H member will in turn show each of the 5 species, receiving a score from 1-10. At the conclusion of the event scores will be totaled to announce the winner. See Fair book for more rules.
The 4-H members and the Fair Board would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who has donated prizes or money to the Ness County Fair, with a lunch provided for those supporters. Will be served in the large room of the 4-H building.
Each 4-H member may sell two animals in the livestock sale. Minimum weights must be obtained to be able to sell. Buyers may purchase the premium (add on money) and the child may then sell the animal for floor price, or the buyer may purchase the premium and the floor price and keep the animal for butcher. Money may also be donated to the 4-H Pool to be combined with several donors, to purchase the premium of livestock. See Fair book for more rules.
